The Zomblers roster has officially disbanded after enduring twelve months of constant lineup changes, as confirmed by in-game leader Andrew "CAJUN" Guidroz. The squad, which centered around CAJUN himself, AWPer Nikolaos "Pose1doNN" Antoniou, and rifler Connor "CoolComs" Barnes, never managed to establish roster stability, rotating seven different players through their fourth and fifth positions throughout 2026.
While the formal announcement came yesterday, the writing had been on the wall since early September when all three core members began publicly seeking new opportunities.
In his statement, CAJUN took full responsibility for the team's collapse, offering candid reflections on his leadership during the turbulent period. He identified lack of ownership, discipline, and integrity as the primary factors behind the roster's failure, stating: "I take ownership for not embedding these ideals sooner within the team as a leader, regardless of where/when it was missing."
The IGL acknowledged becoming too comfortable with a non-toxic atmosphere, admitting he failed to demand sufficient energy and enthusiasm from his teammates. He also revealed that rushed roster decisions complicated matters further, exacerbated by the team's internal dynamics.
Despite the instability, Zomblers achieved notable success after forming under the Tsunami organization in late 2024. They reached two CROSSFIRE finals, claiming victory in one, and secured top-four finishes across multiple domestic online competitions including ECL Cups, with a third-place showing in the latest tournament.
CoolComs, CAJUN, and Pose1doNN have all expressed desire to continue their professional careers elsewhere. Coach Gabriel "Nightlie" Yamauchi rounded out the final roster configuration.
