Zomblers have revealed their lineup adjustments for ESL Challenger League Season 52 North America Cup 2, bringing in Samuel "sml" Oliveira and Max "Zoker" Laping as stand-in players.
Zoker steps in to replace Nikolaos "Pose1doNN" Antoniou, who is currently exploring opportunities with a different project. Team core member Connor "CoolComs" Barnes addressed the situation, explaining the temporary nature of these changes.
According to CoolComs, if Pose1doNN's new venture succeeds and their current setup performs well, the team might consider bringing Zoker back permanently. He emphasized that the situation stems from complications with the vrs core players, leading to rotations for different tournament cups.
Oliveira joins from SportsBetExpert's bench, while Laping returns to Zomblers after previously departing the organization. Zoker had earlier left the team citing environmental incompatibility and issues with team cohesion.
The lineup for the upcoming ESL Challenger League competition features CoolComs, Andrew "CAJUN" Guidroz, and Cole "twigs" Morad as the core trio, with sml and Zoker filling the stand-in positions. Gabriel "Nightlie" Yamauchi continues in his coaching role.
