Ty "TyRa" Aron has officially joined KODEX as their new in-game leader, stepping into the role shortly after leaving Iowa Stormboar. The move was confirmed directly to Dust2.us by TyRa himself.
The roster spot became available when John "Toasty" Hill departed the squad on September 30th to focus on his educational commitments. During the transition period, KODEX utilized Christophe "Dodge" Mailhot as a stand-in for ESEA Advanced Season 59, while Dalton "dopplahs" Hanley temporarily assumed in-game leading responsibilities.
This signing reunites TyRa with dopplahs, as the pair previously competed together on Villainous between December 2023 and June 2024. The existing chemistry between the two players could prove beneficial for the team's performance moving forward.
The revamped KODEX lineup now features dopplahs, Nick "kenny" Gomulka, Joe "JSP" Chmielewski, Andrew "celery" Pylko, and TyRa, with Leroy "OrangeZ" Burns serving as coach.
KODEX are currently active in the NSTLGA Emerald Cup 2026 playoffs, facing EMPIRE in the semifinal match at the time of this announcement.
