North American organization Wildcard is preparing for an extensive European campaign that will keep the roster overseas for roughly one month. Team manager Jeremy Gray confirmed the squad leaves for Europe tomorrow and won't return until after the Esports World Cup concludes in late August.
The journey begins with a bootcamp ahead of Stake Ranked Episode 3 in Spain, scheduled from July 15th through the 18th. Following that Spanish LAN, Wildcard will enter another training camp to prepare for the online BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 Closed Qualifier running July 21st to 26th.
If the team successfully navigates the qualifier, they'll immediately transition to the main BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 event in Malta from July 30th to August 2nd. The schedule leaves little room for rest between competitions.
The European tour concludes in Paris with the Esports World Cup 2026 starting August 12th. This prestigious $2 million tournament runs through August 23rd, and Wildcard plans to head home after their elimination.
While this extended stay means missing some North American qualifiers, the consecutive European events offer invaluable high-level practice. Coming off a strong start to 2026, Wildcard hopes this challenging schedule will prepare them for a dominant second half of the year.
