Voca have emerged victorious in the opening cup tournament of ESL Challenger League Season 52, defeating Marsborne in a best-of-three grand final rematch following their earlier upper bracket encounter.

The opening map proved to be an absolute slugfest, with neither squad managing to establish dominance until Marsborne eventually prevailed in the third overtime session. However, this initial setback didn't signal what was to come, as Voca stormed back by claiming the following two maps while surrendering a mere ten rounds across both contests.

Marsborne's Nuke selection became the stage for an epic battle, with both teams trading blows throughout regulation. Each half concluded at 6-6, forcing the match into overtime territory. After three additional overtime periods, Marsborne finally secured the map 22-20. Adam "Grizz" Golden delivered an outstanding performance with 42 eliminations against 29 deaths.

The momentum shifted dramatically on Dust2, where Voca established an 8-4 advantage by halftime thanks to Carson "nosraC" O'Reilly's impressive ten opening-half frags. Marsborne could only muster a single round in the second period, ultimately losing 13-5.

Ancient saw Voca maintain their dominant form, with nosraC continuing his exceptional play from Dust2. The team closed out the decider with another commanding 13-5 victory, completing the reverse sweep. NosraC topped the server with 18 kills in the decisive map.

The triumph awards Voca $8,000 in prize money and makes them the first team to punch their ticket to the ESEA Season 52 North American Finals.
