Betclic has officially signed Roland "ultimate" Tomkowiak as their new AWPer, bringing him over from Team Liquid. The Polish sniper will fill the roster spot left vacant by Aleksander "hades" Miśkiewicz, who departed the team back in July. Sebastian "fr3nd" Kuśmierz had been serving as a temporary stand-in until this permanent replacement was secured.
Ironically, ultimate's recruitment came shortly after Betclic defeated his former Liquid squad at Stake Pulse Beat I. During his tenure with Liquid, the Polish rifler posted a 1.02 rating across 331 maps, though the team struggled to achieve significant tournament success during that period.
Betclic's trajectory has been notably different. Since acquiring the core roster from KOLESIE last month, the organization has already captured a Tier 2 championship title, demonstrating strong early momentum with their new Polish lineup.
The synergy between these players was recently showcased at the Esports Nations Cup qualifiers, where most of Betclic's current roster represented Poland's national team. Ultimate also participated in those qualifiers, putting up an impressive 1.26 rating over two recorded maps.
The finalized Betclic roster now features Patryk "Demho" Tomaszewski, Wojciech "Prism" Zięba, Mateusz "ex1st" Witman, Konrad "Qlocuu" Klocek, and the newly added ultimate, with Grzegorz "SZPERO" Dziamałek continuing in his coaching role.
