The MongolZ Complete CS2 Lineup With Two Rising Stars

July 12, 20262 min read

The MongolZ have completed their Counter-Strike 2 roster by bringing in two young Mongolian players: tikuak from Chinggis Warriors and DarkMeister from their academy system.

The roster changes follow mzinho's move to BC.Game and cobrazera being placed on the inactive roster. In response, the organization has looked to domestic talent to fill the gaps as they prepare for the remainder of the 2026 campaign.

Tikuak, a 17-year-old rifler, arrives after spending eight months with Chinggis Warriors, having previously developed through The MongolZ Academy. While he lacks top-tier experience, he has performed well in Tier 2 competition and faced notable Asian teams like TYLOO and FlyQuest. His individual performances have been impressive despite primarily competing at the regional level.

DarkMeister, an 18-year-old prospect, has limited experience outside the academy environment. However, his time within the organization means he understands the main team's aggressive, high-risk playstyle that has become their signature approach.

The updated roster features bLitz as in-game leader, alongside Techno, 910, tikuak, and DarkMeister, with maaRaa coaching.

After a historic 2025 season that included a second-place Major finish and an Esports World Cup victory, 2026 has proven challenging. The team currently sits 14th in Valve Regional Standings, though they remain Asia's top-ranked squad by a comfortable margin.

Their Major performance at IEM Cologne disappointed, finishing 9th-11th after losses to BetBoom, NAVI, and 9z in the Swiss stage. The new lineup is expected to debut at the BLAST Bounty Summer Online Qualifiers, with the Singapore Major scheduled for late November providing a key target.
