A peculiar eBay listing has emerged in the aftermath of last week's looting at Team Vitality's V.Hive facility in Paris. The auction, captured in a screenshot dated October 18, purports to sell a StarLadder trophy taken from the French esports organization.
The listing carried the title "STOLEN RARE VITALITY CS2 TROPHEE - STARLADDER" and showed six bidders pushing the price to €1,250. According to the screenshot, the seller operated from Paris with zero positive feedback on their account.
The incident follows the October 17 vandalism of Vitality's V.Hive venue during protests across France. Social media footage appeared to capture individuals removing trophies from the premises. The prize in question is believed to be from Vitality's victory over Aurora at the StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 final on September 20.
Vitality issued a statement acknowledging the break-in, confirming that display cases were smashed and multiple trophies along with computer hardware were stolen. The organization emphasized that no personnel or visitors were harmed during the incident. V.Hive remains temporarily shuttered while management evaluates the extent of the damage.
While Vitality verified the theft occurred, they have not publicly confirmed whether the eBay auction was genuine or connected to the stolen items.
