Luminosity have confirmed their attendance at the Tesla Cup LAN tournament, set to take place in Belgrade, Serbia. The team registered two weeks prior and have now officially secured one of the coveted spots at this high-stakes event.
Scheduled from October 27th through October 29th, the tournament will bring together up to eight competing rosters battling for a $50,000 prize pool. The championship team will walk away with $30,000, making this a significant opportunity for all participants.
Several prominent organizations including FaZe, ENVY, and GamerLegion are also expected to compete, though tournament officials are currently awaiting final payment confirmations before officially announcing these teams.
The timing of this event is crucial for Luminosity, as it concludes just before the November Major qualification deadline. The squad currently finds themselves in a precarious position regarding PGL Singapore Major invitations. HLTV's statistical projection system gives them a 46.9% probability of securing Major participation, ranking them at #18 globally. With only 18 European spots available, every result in upcoming competitions will significantly impact their chances.
Beyond Tesla Cup, Luminosity will participate in DraculaN Season 7. Thanks to their VRS ranking, they've earned direct entry into the playoff stage, with their opening match scheduled for Tuesday, October 20th.
