Jake "Stewie2K" Yip, Timothy "autimatic" Ta, and Tyler "Skadoodle" Latham are making their return to competitive Counter-Strike 2 under the Without a Roof banner, having registered for the BLAST Open Fall NA Open Qualifier #1.
The roster reunites three members of the iconic ELEAGUE Boston 2018 Major championship squad. Word of their comeback first surfaced on May 12th when Austin "Cooper" Abadir accidentally revealed during his stream that the players had started practicing together in preparation for their CS2 return.
For the upcoming BLAST qualifier, the team will feature Justin "FaNg" Coakley and Joshua "steel" Nissan, with steel stepping in temporarily for Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte. According to team manager Danan "Danan" Flander, the squad has been grinding scrims and practice sessions for several weeks since Cooper's leak last month.
During this preparation period, the roster underwent changes, parting ways with Victor "Victor" Wong and bringing FaNg on board for a trial period. Brehze's absence is due to vacation plans, prompting the team to secure veteran player steel as a temporary replacement.
The team hasn't made an official announcement yet, but the BLAST Open Fall 2026 NA Open Qualifier #1 represents a crucial proving ground for this lineup. It marks the first official matches for these players in quite some time, as most have been inactive since 2024 or early 2025.
The qualifier kicks off on June 27th, with two spots in the Closed Qualifier available for the taking.
