The squad arrives at this decision following solid performances domestically, including a runner-up finish at FRAG Midwest: St. Louis the previous week. However, the overseas trip serves a crucial purpose beyond experience gathering.
According to team owner Peter "PETE187" Anadio, this European venture functions as a "hail mary" attempt to secure qualification for the PGL Singapore Major. Statistical analysis from MischiefCS currently places SportsBetExpert's chances at just 3.8% for Major qualification without international tournament success.
The Swedish event promises fierce competition, featuring a formidable European tier-two lineup including BC.Game, HEROIC, NIP, and Johnny Speeds. SportsBetExpert won't travel alone from North America – fellow NA representatives Voca will also compete.
ROG Journey Autumn 2026 currently hosts 14 confirmed teams with room for expansion up to 24 total participants. The roster includes BC.Game, 9INE, EAC Extra, HAVU, HEROIC, JiJieHao, Johnny Speeds, MTX, NIP, Nordic Partners, Prestige, Sashi, SportsBetExpert, and Voca.
