As the only remaining choice, Spirit presented a formidable challenge as the tournament's strongest squad following the earlier eliminations of Vitality and Falcons during the online stage.
The matchup proved difficult for the North American roster. Danil "donk" Kryshkovets maintained his impressive form from the online phase, carrying that momentum into the LAN event in Malta. His stellar performance proved instrumental in Spirit's decisive victory.
Spirit kicked off the series on their chosen battleground, Dust2. While Liquid secured the CT pistol round and its follow-up, that brief advantage marked their only lead throughout the entire map. Spirit's disciplined execution limited Liquid to merely five additional rounds, closing out Dust2 with a 13-7 scoreline. Andrey "tN1R" Tatarinovich led the charge with 20 eliminations.
The second map, Anubis, saw Liquid's pick turn into another Spirit showcase. The Russian powerhouse jumped to an early 6-0 advantage and maintained complete control throughout. Liquid never managed to close the gap beyond six rounds as Spirit cruised to a 13-5 finish. Donk delivered a masterclass performance with 22 kills and an outstanding 11-1 kill-death ratio during the second-half CT side.
Following this elimination, Liquid's schedule now allows them to participate in Stake Pulse Beat I in Sweden without conflicts. That event commences August 1st, with Liquid's opening match against atputies.
