100 Thieves faced a monumental challenge against Spirit in the fight for a BLAST Bounty Season 2 LAN Finals spot. After their surprising victory over Falcons, expectations were high, but Spirit proved too strong in the end.
The series kicked off on 100 Thieves' Anubis selection. Both sides exchanged rounds evenly in a tight first half that ended 6-6, with neither squad managing more than three consecutive wins. 100 Thieves opened the second half strong with four straight rounds, but Spirit's counterattack was devastating. Led by outstanding play from Danil "donk" Kryshkovets, they surged with a 7-1 streak to steal the map 13-11.
Mirage told a completely different story. 100 Thieves dominated Spirit's map pick from start to finish. A pistol round victory set the tone for a crushing 10-2 first half. Although Spirit grabbed the second pistol and following round, 100 Thieves closed it out convincingly 13-4.
The decider on Dust2 became donk's personal showcase. Spirit absolutely demolished their opponents with twelve unanswered rounds as donk went an incredible 20-6 in the opening half. Despite IGL Jack "Gizmy" von Spreckelsen's heroic 1v4 attempt, Spirit sealed a brutal 13-0 shutout.
William "sirah" Kjærsgaard stood out for 100 Thieves despite the elimination, finishing second only to donk in series rating with 1.23, posting 38-31 K/D and eleven multikills. While 100 Thieves exit with no announced upcoming events, their VRS points from the Falcons upset should boost future tournament invitations.
