Spirit have captured the BLAST Open Porto championship following a commanding 3-1 grand final victory against MOUZ.
The triumph marked sweet revenge for Danil "donk" Kryshkovets and his teammates, who fell to these same opponents in the Bounty final just over a month prior. The matchup echoed their 2025 IEM Cologne final clash, where MOUZ couldn't replicate their semi-final form after defeating Vitality.
This represents Spirit's second consecutive title following their Esports World Cup success, putting them firmly on track toward donk's stated ambition of "dominating" the Counter-Strike scene. With Vitality struggling and Falcons unable to recapture their Major-winning form, that goal appears increasingly realistic.
The series opened on Dust2, where Spirit capitalized on MOUZ's vulnerable B site. Oldřich "PR" Nový expressed his frustration mid-match, finishing with a disappointing 0.55 rating despite early triple kills. His teammates Lotan "Spinx" Giladi and Adrian "xelex" Vincze also underperformed at 0.64 and 0.57 respectively.
Dmitry "sh1ro" Sokolov starred on the opening map and carried that momentum into Mirage, securing seven pistol round eliminations as Spirit built an 11-4 advantage. However, MOUZ's young anchors staged an impressive comeback, winning nine consecutive rounds for a 13-11 map victory despite Dorian "xertioN" Berman's 0-11 opening duel record.
Donk dominated Ancient with a stellar 2.39 rating, extending Spirit's winning streak on the map to fifteen. Myroslav "zont1x" Plakhotia delivered crucial plays including a vital 1v3 clutch. On Nuke, zont1x's Glock proved decisive, preventing any MOUZ comeback attempt despite their second-half pistol win.
Spirit sealed the championship shortly after, claiming another trophy while eyeing further conquest.
