HEROIC has confirmed the departure of Swedish player Simon "yxngstxr" Boije from their organization as he moves forward with a new career opportunity.
The Swedish rifler became part of HEROIC in 2025, taking on multiple responsibilities within the squad. His flexibility proved crucial when he returned from the bench at the beginning of 2026, stepping into the AWP position after Alimzhan "Alkaren" Bitimbay encountered visa complications.
During his time as the team's primary sniper, yxngstxr contributed to HEROIC securing their spot in Stage 1 of the IEM Cologne Major. Throughout the season, he maintained a solid 1.00 rating before departing the active lineup during the organization's summer roster overhaul.
Following his move to the inactive list, the Swedish player remained active in the competitive scene. He appeared as a stand-in for EYEBALLERS during BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2 and competed with the Raccoons mix-team in various online tournaments.
HEROIC's current roster consists of Linus "nilo" Bergman, Tim "susp" Ångström, Christoffer "Chr1zN" Storgaard, Antonio "MartinezSa" Martinez, and Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin, with Joonas "doto" Forss serving as coach.
