Team Liquid appears set to shake up their Counter-Strike 2 lineup with a new captain at the helm. According to reports from Dust2.us, the organization is targeting Joni JT Theodosiou from Passion UA to take over the leadership role.
If the transfer goes through, JT would be stepping into the shoes of Kamil siuhy Szkaradek. The potential roster change comes in the wake of disappointing performances throughout the season, with the squad failing to reach playoffs at any tier-one events and suffering an early exit at the first stage of IEM Cologne Major 2026.
The North American organization is also exploring options to strengthen their AWPing department. However, no concrete information has emerged yet regarding who might replace Roland ultimate Tomkowiak in the roster.
Liquid's next competitive appearance will be at the BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 qualifiers, scheduled to run online from July 21 to 26.
