Report: OG Set for Major Roster Overhaul as cadiaN Era Comes to End

September 17, 20262 min read

OG are preparing for another major roster shake-up following their struggles throughout 2026, according to French publication La Source. The organization plans to reconstruct the lineup around Alexandre "bodyy" Pianaro, who will assume in-game leading responsibilities.

The report indicates that Olle "spooke" Grundström has strong prospects of staying with the squad, while Casper "cadiaN" Møller and Luca "pr1metapz" Voigt face likely benching. This dramatic change comes after OG's dismal performance this year, currently ranked 85th in Valve Regional Standings.

The team's best achievement in 2026 was finishing runner-up at Roman Imperium Cup VI, failing to qualify for any top-tier LAN events. The current roster formed after cadiaN joined in late 2025, brought in as the international project's IGL and primary AWPer. Despite multiple roster adjustments over ten months, the squad never gained momentum, with most players posting roughly 1.00 ratings during their tenure.

La Source reports OG initially pursued 3DMAX's core roster but lost out to competing organizations like ENVY. With Adam "adamb" Ångström already transferred to NIP and an empty schedule ahead, OG now have the opportunity for a fresh start heading into next year's two Major tournaments.

The current OG roster includes cadiaN, bodyy, spooke, pr1metapz, and coach Lambert "Lambert" Prigent, though significant changes appear imminent.
