French esports insider Sébastien "KRL" Perez has revealed on X that Johnny "JT" Theodosiou is working to secure Tiaan "T.c" Coertzen's inclusion in his potential move to Team Liquid. This development follows earlier reports from Dust2.us indicating that Liquid are in deep negotiations to sign JT from Passion UA as their new in-game leader, replacing Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek.
According to KRL, no final agreement has been reached for T.c to join Liquid yet. If the transfer materializes, T.c would replace Viktor "flashie" Tamás Bea, who has been with the organization for nearly a year as head coach.
The professional relationship between T.c and JT spans an impressive eight years, making it one of the most enduring coach-IGL partnerships in competitive Counter-Strike. The pair first teamed up in January 2017 on Bravado and remained together through multiple organizations including ATK, Cloud9, Extra Salt, and Complexity. After T.c departed Complexity in March 2025, the duo reunited five months later on Passion UA when the Ukrainian organization acquired the Complexity core roster.
Given their extensive history of success together, JT's desire to bring his trusted coach to Liquid makes strategic sense as he faces the challenging task of rebuilding the organization's competitive standing in the global Counter-Strike scene.
If completed, this would mark the third major roster change for Liquid during the off-season, with the team set to revamp their in-game leader, AWPer, and coaching positions.
