The reigning champions regain have captured the CROSSFIRE Season 5 championship, overcoming Club 333 in the grand finals to claim the $3,000 top prize. Despite entering the finals with an unblemished record of four consecutive 2-0 series victories, regain faced their toughest challenge yet against the Mexican-American mixed roster.

The core trio of Eric "Zucar" Zuccaro, Andrew "dvrk" Brunken, and Alexander "sasha" Burke have now reached the finals in all five CROSSFIRE Seasons. Their trophy cabinet includes first-place finishes in seasons one, four, and five, with runner-up positions in seasons two and three.

The grand finals opened on regain's Inferno selection. Club 333 captured the pistol round and conversion but struggled afterward, trailing 4-8 at halftime. regain pushed to match point early, but Club 333 mounted an impressive seven-round streak to force overtime. In the extra rounds, Club 333 dominated, dropping just one round to take the opener 16-13.

On Club 333's Dust2 pick, regain stumbled to a 1-4 deficit before recovering for a 7-5 halftime advantage. After dropping the second-half pistol, they executed a perfect T-side to close out the map 13-6 and force a deciding third map.

The final battleground was Mirage, where regain seized control immediately. Converting their pistol win into a 4-0 lead, they built a commanding 9-3 first half. Learning from their earlier collapse, they maintained pressure and cruised to a 13-3 victory.

New addition Nazar "H0NeST" Stefinko delivered a stellar performance with 65 kills and 118.5 ADR across the series. Following their upset win over Marsborne, regain advance to face Voca in the BLAST Open Porto qualifier semifinals.
