Oldřich "PR" Nový has returned to MOUZ after spending 18 months with GamerLegion following his departure from the German organization's academy team. The Czech player says his previous connections within the squad made the transition smoother than joining an unfamiliar roster.
"Having existing relationships definitely makes it easier," PR explained during BLAST Bounty 2026 S2 media day. "I already knew xelex from playing together for a few months, and I've known xertioN for quite some time."
The time spent at GamerLegion proved invaluable for the young rifler's development. He believes gaining tier-one experience there better prepared him for this step compared to jumping directly from the academy setup with minimal LAN exposure.
One major adjustment has been switching to more passive CT-side positions, particularly small site anchoring duties. PR admits he's still adapting to these less action-heavy roles. "Sometimes I feel like I'm not helping enough, like I could be doing more," he shared. "But that's something I need to learn."
Regarding xertioN's leadership, PR expressed enthusiasm about the IGL's approach despite his relative inexperience in the role. "I really enjoy how he calls because I actually have more responsibilities now," he noted. "I control more of my map area on T side while still fitting into the overall round structure."
The addition of Cache presents a unique challenge, as PR never played the map before. However, he views the learning curve positively since most teammates are also reacquainting themselves with it after the long hiatus.
Looking at their tournament prospects, PR acknowledged their favorable position but emphasized a pressure-free mindset. "We have no specific expectations or goals," he stated. "We're taking it step by step, focusing only on our next match."
