OrangeZ leaves Zomblers coaching position after brief stint

Leroy 'OrangeZ' Burns has officially departed from his coaching role with Zomblers, as announced on July 1st. The Australian coach spent less than two months with the organization before deciding to move on.

OrangeZ initially joined Zomblers alongside player Max 'Zoker' Laping and assistant coach Gabriel 'Nightlie' Yamauchi, marking the first time Andrew 'CAJUN' Guidroz and his teammates had an official coach under the Zomblers banner.

Evaluating OrangeZ's contribution to the squad proves challenging, as his tenure coincided with an unusually inactive period for the roster. The team hasn't competed in an official match since May 3rd, making it difficult to assess any tactical improvements or changes he might have implemented.

Both parties offered straightforward explanations for the split. OrangeZ stated he felt the arrangement wasn't ideal for either side, while CAJUN pointed to the significant timezone gap between Australia and the rest of the team as a major obstacle to effective collaboration.

Following OrangeZ's exit, Zomblers have elevated Nightlie from assistant to head coach. This promotion represents the first major head coaching opportunity for the relatively unknown figure in the competitive scene.

The current Zomblers lineup features Connor 'CoolComs' Barnes, Andrew 'CAJUN' Guidroz, Nikolaos 'Pose1doNN' Antoniou, Colton 'FxRE' Thrasher, and Max 'Zoker' Laping, with Gabriel 'Nightlie' Yamauchi now serving as their head coach.
