North American representatives Bogdan "ogwizard" Savula and Chance "WUMBO" Boyer from Marsborne have earned positions on the August HLTV Prospects list. The duo claimed spots at #45 and #47 respectively, appearing together for the first time.
This marks WUMBO's fourth appearance on the prestigious list, having previously been featured in April, May, and June. The 19-year-old continues to demonstrate consistent performance at the competitive level. Meanwhile, 20-year-old ogwizard made his debut on the list just last month in July, making this his second consecutive appearance.
Their inclusion comes shortly after three other players graduated from the Prospects list, including Adam "Grizz" Golden, Jaxon "Peeping" Cornwell, and Maks "laxiee" Andryei.
Another standout on the current rankings is Liquid's recently acquired AWPer Georgi "Jorko" Mitev, who sits at #12. The 17-year-old Bulgarian made an impressive start with his new team at BLAST Bounty Season 2 despite having limited high-level Counter-Strike experience. During the online portion of the tournament, Jorko helped Liquid secure clean 2-0 victories against top-tier opponents Vitality and G2, posting a 1.29 rating with over 80 average damage per round across four maps. He ranked as the team's second-best performer behind Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski. Even in Liquid's LAN loss to Spirit, Jorko delivered a stellar individual performance on Dust2 with a 1.62 rating and nearly 10% positive round swing impact.
