North American organization NuTorious has revealed that Danish professional Mikkel Maze Sparvath will join their roster for the approaching FRAG St. Clair LAN tournament and the BLAST Open Porto NA Closed Qualifier. The Danish player already stood in for the team during BLAST Open Porto NA Open Qualifiers, where they claimed victory in the second qualifier by defeating aircoal in the final match.
The 25-year-old rifler brings considerable European experience to the table, having competed since 2018. His career highlights include stints with Fnatic Rising in the WePlay Academy League, as well as time spent with AaB, BIG ACADEMY, and Secret during that organization's brief venture into Counter-Strike 2.
The partnership between Maze and NuTorious developed in an unexpected manner. Team member Andrew Kermi Cretella explained that they discovered the Danish in-game leader through his social media posts on X and were sufficiently impressed to pursue adding him to their lineup.
The complete NuTorious roster for FRAG St. Clair features Andrew Kermi Cretella, Nathaniel neight Bell, Thomas Bones Degenhardt, Cameron cmrn Longman, and Mikkel Maze Sparvath serving as stand-in. Adam Kurrent Starr will guide the team as coach.
FRAG St. Clair kicks off on July 11th with NuTorious competing against notable teams including NRG, SportsBetExpert, and Villainous at the Canadian LAN event.
