Three North American teams—NRG, Wildcard, and Voca—have registered for the waitlist to compete at Elisa BreakOut Series 2. However, waitlist registration does not automatically secure a slot in the eight-team Finnish LAN event, as only the top-ranked squads will receive invitations.
According to current VRS rankings, NRG holds the second position among waitlisted teams, Wildcard sits in third, while Voca occupies ninth place. If no additional teams register and rankings remain unchanged before the deadline, NRG and Wildcard would likely secure spots, but Voca would miss out.
The registration window closes on September 15th. Following that date, the eight highest-ranked teams will receive invitations to purchase team passes. Teams must complete their purchase within 72 hours of receiving the invoice, or the invitation passes to the next team in line. If insufficient VRS-ranked teams are available, remaining slots will be filled on a first-come-first-serve basis.
The tournament format features a group stage with two groups of four teams each, playing best-of-one round robin matches. The top two teams from each group advance to a single-elimination playoff bracket with best-of-three series.
The competition offers a €15,000 prize pool, with the champions claiming €7,500. Elisa BreakOut Series 2 runs from October 15th through October 17th.
