NRG have punched their ticket to StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 after conquering the Closed Qualifier, defeating Voca in a decisive grand finals rematch.
The two teams faced off once more after meeting earlier in the upper bracket, with Cache and Ancient returning as battlegrounds. In their first encounter, Voca suffered a crushing 1-13 defeat on Cache, yet surprisingly permitted NRG to select it again as the opening map. This time, NRG's defensive side executed perfectly, running a flawless CT performance to secure a 13-7 victory.
Ancient proved more competitive, with both squads trading 7-5 halves that pushed the match into overtime. NRG built momentum to reach match point at 15-12, ultimately sealing the series with a 16-13 finish. The two-map sweep saw stellar performances from Aran "Sonic" Groesbeek and Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli, who dominated the server with 44 and 46 eliminations respectively.
With this qualification secured, NRG will join elite competition at StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 starting September 17th, competing alongside powerhouse organizations such as Vitality and FURIA.
