Nemiga have captured the WINLINE MPKBK CIS LAN Season 7 championship following a commanding 3-1 victory over Nemesis in the grand final showdown.
The Russian team's playoff run began with a quarterfinal clash against BET-M, where Aleksandr "KaiR0N-" Anashkin led his squad to victory in a thrilling three-map series. The decisive match on Anubis went to quadruple overtime before Nemiga emerged victorious.
Their semifinal bout against CYBERSHOKE saw exceptional performances from Daniel "syph0" Ageyev and KaiR0N-, both posting impressive 1.34 ratings to overcome Daniil "alpha" Demin's team and advance to the championship match.
In the best-of-five final, Nemiga established early dominance by comfortably winning the opening two maps. Despite dropping Cache in overtime, they sealed the championship on Dust2 after another extended battle.
While KaiR0N- topped the team's ratings in the final at 1.31, it was Beksultan "khaN" Ospan who delivered the knockout blow with an outstanding 1.68 rating on the decisive Dust2 map.
The tournament victory propelled Nemiga up 14 positions in the VRS rankings to number 24, while runners-up Nemesis climbed 12 spots to reach number 36. FORZE Reload made the biggest leap with a 28-place jump, followed closely by CYBERSHOKE who rose 23 positions.
