Coach Dorian "xertioN" Berman couldn't hide his satisfaction after the match, joking on the official broadcast: "Nobody beats MOUZ eight times in a row."
This championship marks MOUZ's first trophy since their PGL Cluj-Napoca triumph 17 months ago. The victory comes in their debut event with Oldřich "PR" Nový, who returned to the Hamburg organization from their NXT academy roster.
The opening two maps saw Spirit struggle uncharacteristically. Star player Danil "donk" Kryshkovets looked out of form, echoing his semi-final performance against FaZe. A lone 1v3 clutch on Dust2 was his only highlight as MOUZ dominated to take a 2-0 series lead. On Mirage, the 19-year-old posted a negative K/D ratio for the fifth consecutive map — a career first.
Spirit found life on Ancient, where they'd previously won seven straight matches. donk rediscovered his form, leading a comeback from 6-9 down to secure a 13-6 victory and force a fourth map on Nuke.
The decider proved tense. donk's visible frustration showed when he slammed his desk during the first half as MOUZ built a 6-4 attacking lead. Boris "magixx" Vorobiev's clutch Five-seveN triple in a 3v5 situation kept Spirit close at 7-5 by halftime.
After Spirit equalized 7-7, the teams traded rounds through 20. MOUZ finally broke through on defense, with Lotan "Spinx" Giladi's quad-kill against pistols setting up map point. They closed it out the next round against an eco buy.
Spinx proved unstoppable throughout the grand final, topping the scoreboard on all four maps. He posted a 1.91 rating on Dust2, followed by 1.86 on Mirage, 1.16 on the Ancient loss, and 1.41 on Nuke — culminating in a dominant 1.54 series rating. The Israeli rifler led with 78 kills, 89.3 ADR, 81.9% KAST, and a +4.97% round swing impact.
