VRS enthusiast MischiefCS2 has released his initial predictions for the Americas region ahead of the Singapore Major, following up on his recent European forecast. The analyst cautioned that these projections remain highly fluid, as multiple tournaments are yet to conclude and teams could significantly shift standings with strong performances.
For the Singapore Major, North and South American teams compete together for nine available invitation spots. According to MischiefCS2's current simulations, eight of these positions appear relatively settled despite the event being roughly three months away.
Leading the pack are Legacy, FURIA, and 9z, which the analyst considers virtually guaranteed invites. These three squads are now effectively competing among themselves for the prestigious Stage 3 invitation rather than worrying about qualification.
The next tier includes teams that should maintain their positions barring consistent underperformance or major changes to the domestic tournament schedule. This group features South American representatives MIBR, DENDELE, and paiN, alongside North American organizations Liquid and M80.
The real battle centers on the ninth and final invitation spot. MischiefCS2 identifies NRG and Wildcard as the frontrunners with a significant advantage over other contenders. Both organizations will need to deliver strong results in upcoming events to lock down that highly sought-after Major invitation.
The analyst stressed that with several tournaments still on the horizon, these rankings could shift substantially before final invitations are determined.
