Linus "LNZ" Holtäng's squad delivered an impressive attacking display throughout the matchup, combining for an 18-2 record across both terrorist sides. This victory keeps MIBR's lower bracket journey alive, with their next challenge coming against whoever emerges victorious from the FURIA versus MOUZ clash scheduled for later Saturday.
The result marks a letdown for Nick "nitr0" Cannella's North American roster, who opened the tournament with a statement upset over MOUZ. Had they advanced, NRG would have claimed 70 VRS points, boosting their position eight spots in the rankings. Despite the early exit, they'll still depart Barcelona with 130 points in hand.
Cache, NRG's map selection, saw Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli and teammates build a respectable 7-5 terrorist half even after dropping the opening pistol round.
