The group stage format consisted of five best-of-one matches condensed into approximately ten hours of play. M80 emerged with a respectable 3-2 standing, earning their place in the knockout rounds. Their victories came against Ninjas in Pyjamas, GamerLegion, and Metizport, while losses came at the hands of Luminosity and B8.
The opening match on Mirage against an NIP roster featuring recent additions Karim "Krimbo" Moussa and Adam "adamb" Ångström went down to the wire. After multiple momentum swings and reaching overtime, M80 prevailed 16-14.
