M80 will compete at Roman Imperium Cup VIII without their head coach Rory "dephh" Jackson, who is taking time off for a family visit that has been scheduled for quite some time. Jackson explained to Dust2.us that relatives are traveling from the United Kingdom to spend time with him.
Stepping into the head coaching role will be assistant coach Luca "Munstur" Ioanițiu, who will lead the squad at the LAN event in Portugal. Munstur initially joined the organization as an analyst ahead of the IEM Cologne Major and was promoted to assistant coach in August.
The Romanian coach brings valuable experience to the position. He previously worked with FlyQuest RED from September 2023 through January 2025. Most recently, Munstur was part of Passion UA's analyst team before that project fell apart.
The M80 roster competing in Vila Nova de Gaia will feature Fritz "slaxz-" Dietrich, Michael "Swisher" Schmid, Elias "s1n" Stein, Josh "JBa" Barutt, and Mason "Lake" Sanderson, with Munstur calling the shots from behind.
