Circuit X has unveiled the full lineup for the BLAST Open Porto NA Closed Qualifier, with M80, Voca, Marsborne, and LAG securing their places through VRS invitations. The announcement also suggests that several top-tier organizations including Wildcard, Liquid, NRG, and Chicken Coop turned down their invites to participate.
Wildcard's manager Jeremy Gray confirmed to Dust2.us that his squad is departing for Europe to compete in Stake Ranked Episode 3. NRG has committed to playing FRAG St. Clair over the weekend, while Chicken Coop's Jared Habib stated his team cannot attend due to personal obligations. Liquid's absence remains officially unconfirmed, though speculation about potential roster adjustments might be keeping them sidelined until their lineup is finalized. Alternatively, they may have chosen to remain in Europe for season preparation.
Since Marsborne and LAG had already qualified through the Open Qualifiers, their invited slots were reassigned to the teams they defeated in their respective qualifier finals. The regain squad takes Marsborne's position, while Jason Ruchelski and Austin Abadir's WINNERS mix roster claims LAG's spot.
