Liquid, TYLOO, DENDELE and Nemiga Secure Spots at PGL Masters Bucharest

The roster for PGL Masters Bucharest is now complete after regional qualifying tournaments wrapped up across Europe, Asia, North America, and South America. The final four participants earning their places are Nemiga, DENDELE, Liquid, and TYLOO at the prestigious $1,250,000 competition.

Nemiga dominated the European qualifier without dropping a series, defeating Inner Circle, SINNERS, 1win, and B8 along the way. Their impressive run saw them lose only a single map throughout the entire bracket, culminating in a commanding 3-0 sweep of B8 in the deciding match.

In South America, DENDELE mirrored that success with an undefeated campaign, taking down Turma do Pagode, Imperial, and Fluxo twice to punch their ticket. The North American qualifier proved far more challenging for Liquid, who barely edged past Marsborne in the upper bracket semifinals before suffering a loss to NRG that sent them to the consolidation final.

Johnny "JT" Theodosiou's squad showed resilience by reverse-sweeping Voca, then mounted a comeback from a 1-2 series deficit against NRG. Despite nearly throwing away a commanding 10-2 advantage on Mirage, Liquid managed to close out the map and dominated the Inferno decider to secure qualification.

TYLOO cruised through the Asian grand final against DEPO, who had previously knocked out FlyQuest in the third-place match before falling short in the finals.

PGL Masters Bucharest runs from October 24-31 and represents a critical opportunity for teams aiming to lock down invitations to PGL Major Singapore before the November 2 VRS invitation deadline.
