Team Liquid has confirmed that benched AWPer Roland "ultimate" Tomkowiak will compete in BLAST Bounty Season 2 instead of Georgi "Jorko" Mitev, who was expected to make his team debut. The reason behind this last-minute change relates to BLAST's roster eligibility requirements for wildcard invitations, which mandate that Liquid's lineup must include three players from a roster previously ranked in the VRS top 12.
Both ultimate's benching and Jorko's addition were announced on July 9th. Following two years of mixed performances with their Polish sniper, Liquid opted to recruit 17-year-old Jorko from FOKUS.
Liquid's most recent roster meeting BLAST's criteria achieved their top 12 ranking in December 2025. That lineup consisted of Guy "NertZ" Iluz, Keith "NAF" Markovic, Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski, Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek, and Roland "ultimate" Tomkowiak.
ultimate's return for this event serves as additional evidence of siuhy's departure from the active roster. Reports indicate he will be replaced by Johnny "JT" Theodosiou before the new season begins.
The current Liquid roster for BLAST Bounty Season 2 includes Keith "NAF" Markovic, Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek, Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski, Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa, Roland "ultimate" Tomkowiak as stand-in, and coach Viktor "flashie" Tamás Bea.
