August 18, 20262 min read

Team Liquid and M80 have officially accepted their invitations to compete at Logitech G Play Connect, set to take place in Warsaw, Poland. The tournament features a substantial $100,000 prize pool and provides teams ranked outside the top tier with a crucial opportunity to earn VRS points.

As a tier-two LAN event, invitations began with teams ranked thirteenth in the VRS global standings. The field will consist of ten invited squads plus two additional teams qualifying through closed qualifiers, bringing the total to twelve participants.

The competition format divides the twelve teams into two groups of six. Teams will face each other in a round-robin format using best-of-one matches during the group stage. The top finisher from each group earns a direct advancement to the semifinals, while second and third-place teams from both groups will battle in the quarterfinals.

Logitech G Play Connect runs from September 17th through September 23rd. Group A matches kick off on the opening day, with Group B following on September 18th. Quarterfinal matches are scheduled for September 19th, while the semifinals and grand finals take place on September 22nd and 23rd respectively. The final two rounds will be held at EXPO XXI in Warsaw.

Both M80 and Liquid face a tight schedule if they advance to the final day, as iBUYPOWER Masters fl0m's Mythical LAN 2026 begins just two days later on September 25th in Las Vegas, Nevada.
