Legacy delivered a commanding performance against G2 in the FISSURE Playground 3 grand final held in Suzhou, taking home the trophy with a clean 3-0 sweep. This marks the Brazilian team's third championship triumph on Chinese territory, following their previous victories at CAC 2025 and 2026.
The match began on Ancient, Legacy's map selection. G2 showed early promise despite falling behind 2-5 on their CT side, managing to string together five consecutive rounds to seize the advantage heading into the second half. They extended their cushion after winning the second pistol, but Legacy responded with a forcebuy victory and rattled off five straight rounds to lead 10-8. Bruno "latto" Rebelatto emerged as the star on Ancient, securing a crucial double kill in a 3v3 situation during round 20 to maintain an 11-9 edge, before Legacy closed out the map.
Mirage saw Santino "try" Rigal explode out of the gates with a USP quad-kill, followed by an AWP triple on short as Legacy raced to a 5-0 defensive start. Although Artem "r1nkle" Moroz clutched a 1v2 to make it 3-9 before halftime, Legacy maintained control. While try's impact diminished as the map progressed, latto continued his exceptional form. Nemanja "huNter-" Kovač produced an ace in round 17 attempting to spark a comeback, but the Brazilians held firm through a tight back-and-forth stretch to secure a 13-10 victory.
With momentum firmly on their side heading into Dust2, their second pick, Legacy showed no mercy. They stormed out to a 5-0 attacking lead and cruised to an 8-4 halftime advantage before sealing a dominant 13-4 map win.
latto topped the scoreboard across all three maps, posting a sensational 2.25 rating on Dust2 with 131.6 ADR and a +11.50% round swing. His grand final stats were exceptional: 1.67 rating, +5.59% round swing, 102.9 ADR, and 80.6% KAST. He narrowly edged out Vinicius "n1ssim" Pereira for MVP honors, becoming a three-time MVP across Legacy's Chinese tournament victories.
For G2, Guy "NertZ" Iluz provided a silver lining with a 1.23 rating and series-high 107.7 ADR despite the loss. Unfortunately, r1nkle struggled significantly with the AWP, recording just 26 kills across three maps and finishing with a 0.63 rating as the lowest-rated player in the final.
