FUT Esports has secured the future of their captain, as Aulon "Krabeni" Fazlija has put pen to paper on a contract extension with the organization. The Kosovar in-game leader follows in the footsteps of teammates Dmytro "dem0n" Myroshnychenko, Džiugas "dziugss" Steponavičius, and András "coolio" Fercsák, who all recently committed to new deals.
There had been growing speculation when the highly coveted captain was absent from the first wave of contract renewals announced by the team. However, those concerns have now been laid to rest with this latest announcement.
The only remaining player on his original contract is AWPer Nikita "cmtry" Samolotov, who like his teammates came through the NAVI Junior system. FUT currently sits at sixth place in the global rankings and is looking to maintain that strong position.
During the player break, the Turkish squad made a roster adjustment by bringing in Yasin "xfl0ud" Koç to replace Laurențiu "lauNX" Țârlea, aiming to strengthen their secondary calling capabilities. The move paid dividends as the team reached the grand final at the Esports World Cup.
With their core players now secured for the long term, FUT can focus on upcoming tournaments, including PGL Masters Bucharest. The Romanian capital holds special significance for the squad, as it was the location where they claimed their inaugural trophy earlier this season.
