EMPIRE has announced the unexpected departure of Kamron "kmrn" Manii from their roster. The former LAG player is leaving the squad just two weeks after he initially joined the team.
kmrn was brought onto EMPIRE as a replacement for Christian "no1nx" Labrada, who parted ways with the organization on July 13th. His tenure with the team proved to be remarkably short-lived.
In a statement to Dust2.us, kmrn revealed that burnout was the driving factor behind his decision to step down. He confirmed that he plans to take a break from competitive Counter-Strike.
Despite the brief stint, kmrn contributed to EMPIRE's strong 3-1 start in ESEA Advanced Season 58. Interestingly, Deven "Reaper" Cruthers was already spotted filling in for the team during their latest victory against "counterstrike Team."
The current EMPIRE lineup now features Nicolas "C0C0" Nassoura, Cole "twigs" Morad, Kaan "BAGEL" Demircan, and Colby "Walco" Walsh, with Jeremy "Nexity" Bardy serving as coach. The team will need to find a permanent fifth player to continue their Advanced season campaign.
