Villainous finds itself searching for a new support and anchor player following Connor "Jolts" Haines' departure from the active roster. Team in-game leader Dylan "DYLAN" Frivalt confirmed the news, explaining that work commitments prevented Jolts from continuing with the squad.
This marks the second time Jolts has left a competitive roster. Back in April, he stepped away from mouse due to dissatisfaction with his role assignment, though that break proved short-lived. He returned to action with NuTorious merely two days later. The following month, Villainous picked up the mouse core lineup, bringing Jolts along with several teammates.
The team has shown promising results in recent competition. They performed strongly during ESEA Advanced Season 57 and secured third place at FRAG St. Clair. Most recently, they earned their spot in the PGL Masters Bucharest NA Closed Qualifier. Currently, Villainous competes in CROSSFIRE Season 6, though they've dropped to the lower bracket.
Across 41 maps with Villainous, Jolts maintained a 0.94 average rating. The remaining four-man roster includes DYLAN, Kyle "Sunk" Kallahan, Jasper "Burglar" Martin, and Matthew "bright" Ulatowski as they search for their fifth member.
