Iowa Stormboar have announced significant roster changes, with Justin "jsfeltner" Feltner stepping away from active competition after a year and a half with the InControl/Iowa Stormboar lineup.
The organization confirmed to Dust2.us that William "aelor" Africano and Anthony "ayaneuu" Scheuer are returning to the starting five. Additionally, Noah "false" Richardson has joined the squad on a trial basis.
According to team captain Ty "TyRa" Aron and jsfeltner himself, the decision was mutual. Feltner wanted time away from competitive play, while the team sought to experiment with a fresh composition. Despite their desire for change, Iowa Stormboar face certain restrictions as they must maintain their VRS core consisting of TyRa, aelor, and Brett "Scorchyy" Coolen.
Richardson arrives with limited professional experience, having played just six maps documented on HLTV for FRAG York. His most recent stint was with Demolition in ESEA Main Season 57, where the team finished in 5th-6th place, narrowly missing qualification for the Regional Finals.
TyRa revealed that false will remain on trial through FRAG St. Louis, after which the organization will evaluate whether to make him a permanent roster member.
