Imperial has officially confirmed the addition of AWPer Guilherme "saadzin" Pacheco to their roster, completing his transfer from Legacy. Reports indicate that Santino "try" Rigal is heading to Legacy as part of the move.
The Brazilian sniper takes over from Guilherme "levi" Gustavo, who was removed from the active lineup after spending only four months with the organization.
Before finalizing the deal, saadzin competed with Imperial as a substitute at CCT South America Series 3 earlier this week. He posted a strong 1.09 rating as the squad claimed victory in the $15,000 online competition, defeating ALKA, Isurus, LP and Bounty Hunters along the way.
The 24-year-old joined Legacy in May 2024 from W7M and maintained a consistent 1.09 rating throughout his two-year tenure. During that period, he captured two CAC championships and represented Legacy at three Major tournaments in Austin, Budapest and Cologne.
With the AWP position now filled, Imperial faces another task ahead: finding a replacement for head coach Rafael "zakk" Fernandes, who recently departed the team.
Imperial's current roster features Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes, Vinicius "VINI" Figueiredo, Lucas "decenty" Bacelar, Kaiky "noway" Santos, and their newest addition, Guilherme "saadzin" Pacheco.
