Imperial have made the decision to bench AWPer Guilherme "levi" Gustavo, concluding his brief four-month run with the organization's active roster. The move follows a lackluster campaign for the Brazilian team, highlighted by their failure to secure a spot at the IEM Cologne Major.
The young sniper's journey with Imperial was notably short-lived. He joined the squad in February this year, stepping in for Santino "try" Rigal who had left to join Passion UA. During his time with the roster, levi failed to deliver the impact expected from him, posting an average 1.00 rating across the season.
Imperial's overall performance during this period left much to be desired. Apart from claiming first and second place finishes in two separate ESL Challenger League competitions, the team struggled to gain momentum in regional tournaments and ultimately fell short in their quest for Major qualification.
According to reports from Dust2.br, Imperial are currently in discussions to loan Guilherme "saadzin" Pacheco, who has already appeared with the team in recent open qualifier matches and CCT 2026 South America Series 3.
The current Imperial lineup features Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes, Vinicius "VINI" Figueiredo, Lucas "decenty" Bacelar, and Kaiky "noway" Santos as they look to rebuild and improve their competitive standing.
