HEROIC have completed a significant roster reconstruction by bringing in Spanish AWPer Antonio "MartinezSa" Martinez from Gentlemates and Swedish in-game leader Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin from MOUZ. These additions come as Simon "yxngstxr" Boije exits the active lineup and Yasin "xfl0ud" Koç makes his move to FUT from the bench.
The organization initially announced the benching of 23-year-old Turkish player xfloud, who swiftly found a new home with FUT just five hours later. He'll be filling the spot left by Laurențiu "lauNX" Țârlea, who was recently moved to the bench by the Turkish organization.
Simultaneously, HEROIC confirmed that yxngstxr, who transitioned from rifling to AWPing, would be stepping away from competitive play. The Swedish player shared his reasoning publicly, explaining that the past few seasons have been mentally challenging both outside and inside the server, prompting him to take time evaluating his future direction.
Brollan's departure from MOUZ marks the end of a lengthy partnership that lasted 903 days with the Top 10 squad. His signing with HEROIC ensures the organization maintains its Swedish-majority core.
The revamped HEROIC roster, featuring Linus "nilo" Bergman, Tim "susp" Ångström, Christoffer "Chr1zN" Storgaard, MartinezSa, and Brollan under coach Joonas "doto" Forss, will make their first appearance at Stake Ranked Episode 3 beginning July 15th.
