G2 Esports rifler Nikita HeavyGod Martynenko has responded to his Exceptionally Valuable Player recognition at IEM Cologne Major 2026. The competitor shared his reaction through his personal X social media account.

HeavyGod posted a stellar 1.26 rating throughout the championship. This performance placed him third overall, trailing only Mathieu ZywOo Herbaut with 1.42 and Danil donk Kryshkovtsev at 1.34. Despite his individual excellence, G2 Esports saw their tournament run end in the quarterfinals against Team Spirit.

The major tournament took place from June 2-21 in Germany, featuring a prize pool of $1.25 million. Team Falcons claimed the championship title, while their sniper Ilya m0NESY Osipov walked away with the MVP award for his outstanding contributions to the victory.
