Ali "hAdji" Haïnouss has officially retired from professional Counter-Strike, closing the chapter on a career that began in 2015.
The French player announced his decision on social media, stating that after years of commitment and pursuing his competitive dreams, he has chosen to step away from active play. However, he emphasized that his journey in Counter-Strike is far from over, expressing strong interest in transitioning to a staff position with a professional team.
hAdji's career trajectory saw him initially gain recognition on Envy's academy squad before earning his promotion to the main roster in February 2018. Throughout his time as a professional, he competed for several prominent organizations including 3DMAX, LDLC, Falcons, and Monte.
His most impressive tournament performance came during his tenure with Envy at CAC 2018, where the French squad secured a 3-4th place finish. After departing from 3DMAX in March 2024, hAdji had two separate stints with Monte and also represented DRILLAS. In October 2025, he launched the organization-free illwill project alongside Volodymyr "Woro2k" Veletniuk.
His final competitive appearance was in July, where he helped Morocco's national team win the Esports Nations Cup open qualifier, playing alongside brothers Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom and Nabil "Nivera" Benrlitom.
Despite retiring from competition, hAdji stressed that his passion for the game remains intact and he's prepared to channel his experience and dedication into a coaching or staff capacity.
