G2 Looking to Loan Out Academy Star tAk

July 19, 20261 min read

G2 have announced they are actively seeking loan offers for Vilius "tAk" Keserauskas, their talented player from the G2 Ares academy roster.

The 21-year-old Lithuanian has been a standout performer for the junior squad since joining in 2024, establishing himself as the team's primary star. In 2026, he has maintained an impressive 1.18 rating while taking on high-impact roles.

Following his brief stint at tier-one level during IEM Rio, where he stepped in for injured captain huNter-, G2 believe tAk is ready for the next stage of his career. The emergency substitution gave him valuable exposure to top-tier competition.

According to G2 manager Petar "peca" Marković, tAk brings exactly what teams need in a developing player. He described the Lithuanian as vocal, versatile, and ambitious, ready to shoulder greater responsibilities. With university now behind him, tAk can dedicate himself entirely to professional Counter-Strike.

The organization points to their previous loan success with kl1m at MIBR as proof this approach works. Marković emphasized that the right environment, consistent official matches, and a defined role create ideal conditions for academy graduates to flourish. G2 are confident the same strategy will benefit tAk's progression in the competitive scene.
