SunPayus joined the G2 lineup in 2025 and achieved notable success during his tenure with the team. His most significant accomplishment came at BLAST Open London 2025, where he helped secure the championship title. Throughout his time with G2, the Spanish player participated in numerous competitive events.
The team recently competed at IEM Cologne Major 2026, entering the tournament from the second stage. G2's run ended in the quarterfinals following a 1-2 defeat against Team Spirit. SunPayus recorded an average individual rating of 1.0 during the major.
Neither G2 Esports nor SunPayus have disclosed information about who will replace the player on the roster or where the Spanish competitor plans to continue his professional career moving forward.
