FunMix, a local gaming venue in Toronto, has unveiled plans for an upcoming Counter-Strike 2 competition. The event features a prize pool of $500 CAD distributed among top performers, with space for a maximum of six participating squads.
The competition format starts with a round robin phase, from which the leading four teams will progress to playoff brackets. Champions will claim $300 CAD in cash, while runners-up receive $150 CAD and third-place finishers get $50 CAD in venue credits. These credits are valid for entertainment options at the center but cannot be applied toward food or drink purchases.
Teams interested in competing must pay an entry fee of $150 CAD. The tournament is scheduled for July 23rd at the FunMix LAN facility located on King Street West in Toronto. Registration information is currently available through the venue's official channels.
This grassroots esports event offers local Counter-Strike 2 players an opportunity to compete in a LAN environment and potentially earn cash rewards while testing their skills against other regional teams.
