After a four-month break, Dust2.us has returned to cover the North American Counter-Strike scene with FRAG Midwest: St. Louis. Jeffrey "Mnmzzz" Moore is providing on-site coverage from FRAG's inaugural Midwest event of the year.
The tournament got off to a relaxed start with a 1:30 PM local kickoff time, though organizers experienced some minor technical difficulties. The event was initially delayed, with FRAG pushing the start time to approximately 2:30 PM as they worked through various issues. Teams began arriving at the Impact Gaming Center venue throughout the afternoon.
Fourteen teams are competing in the opening day of action, including SportsBetExpert, KODXES, Without a Roof, For Fun, Sassy Sunshines, Stand On Business, 30yo talents, Life's A Game, Unreal Nightmare, NineFly, Factor, Lotus 2.0, Lingering Souls, and YIPPIEEEEEE.
Once matches finally commenced, the action picked up quickly. Without a Roof took to the servers, while WaR managed to secure their first victory of the tournament.
