After a four-month hiatus, Dust2.us returns to cover North American Counter-Strike at FRAG Midwest: St. Louis. Jeffrey "Mnmzzz" Moore is on-site providing live coverage of FRAG's inaugural Midwest event of the year.
The day kicked off with three simultaneous matches. In the upper bracket, Without a Roof squared off against LAG, while the lower bracket featured SportsBetExpert versus DETONATE and Wanted Goons against For Fun.
SportsBetExpert seized the momentum early, taking Inferno 13-7 to claim the first map in their series against DETONATE. Meanwhile, For Fun also grabbed an opening advantage, securing Nuke 13-6 against Wanted Goons. Both teams later managed to level their respective series.
The standout result came from LAG, who delivered a dominant performance against Without a Roof. They closed out their match with a convincing 13-6 scoreline, punching their ticket to the grand finals. LAG now waits as two additional best-of-three series determine their finals opponent.
